Role Overview:

As a Restoration Technician at Restofix Services, you will play a vital role in restoring properties affected by various types of damage. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in both independent work and team collaborations to deliver top-tier restoration services for properties of all sizes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to cases of water, fire, and mould damage, executing effective mitigation and restoration efforts
• Perform contents cleaning and maintain detailed inventory records
• Install and monitor restoration equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct moisture readings and collect mould samples for analysis
• Communicate effectively with clients, office staff, and management to ensure smooth project execution
• Prepare and submit comprehensive damage reports for insurers

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for someone dedicated, motivated, and eager to grow in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong desire to learn and grow through on-the-job training
• Previous experience in a technician role with IICRC certification (preferred but not essential)
• A trade background, particularly in carpentry, will be highly regarded
• A positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to collaborate with our building division (WA Insurance Builders) to ensure a seamless claims process
• Availability for occasional on-call work outside regular hours
• A current C-class driver’s license
